Aclara Biosciences Holder Files To Sell 277,778 Cmn Shrs
Dow Jones Newswires

WASHINGTON -- Aclara Biosciences Inc. (ACLA) shareholder GIMV NV (B.GIM) registered to sell 277,778 shares of the company's common stock, according to a Form 144 released Tuesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock, but it isn't a commitment to do so.

The filing said GIMV intended to sell the shares Sept. 7 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown was listed as the broker for the transaction.

Aclara, Mountain View, Calif., is developing products that will allow researchers to rapidly perform large numbers of chemical and biological measurements in a miniaturized, automated format.
