The PAs that I know (who are in smallish Co's) tell me that tantalum capacitors are hard to get if they are not on contract. The reps. are saying that if you want range of parts, you should place them on order a two months ago.

There does not seem to be anything easy to get and capacitors are in the for front of the hard to come by.
