Got no problem with adjusting one's outlook on the basis of events... Heck, I've been pretty bearish the last few months myself... Just trying to instigate a sentiment washout, I suppose. A bit of an updraft would suit me, as at just this moment I happen to have a fairly sizable and profitable long position in a tech company (NOT b2b or enterprise software, btw) that I'm hoping will autopilot to a nice landing today, tomorrow, probably not much later than that unless yesterday really was a bottom. Didn't expect to be in this position--that's what system trading'll do to you sometimes--so I'm a bit nervous, I guess. Apologies if I've been over-posting...
