re Penicillun Would have still been developed without govt funding. Pharm companies want to develop successful products so they can make money. They'd do it EASIER without government help and interference. Our FDA has killed more than its saved due to expense and delay (and virtual disappearance of small companies in the field because they cannot afford to develop products). Freeus
