Micrex Development Corp. - Announcement

Edmonton, Alberta --

MICREX DEVELOPMENT CORP.
A mineral exploration and development company operating in Canada
and the United States

Section 12(g)(3) Exemption 82-4281

Micrex announces today that Apex Geoscience has completed the
three-dimensional modeling of a portion of the Burmis Magnetite
Deposit, in the Crowsnest Pass area.

Apex was contracted to compile and merge the historical drilling
data base with modern Digital Elevation Data and then create a
three dimensional model of the ore body.

The historical data base was made up of over 80 drill holes,
location maps and assay reports. This was a complex undertaking
and has taken longer than expected.

The first model is based on a series of drill holes in the north
part of the deposit. Further models will be extended from this
area.

Based on the model so far Apex has been able to outline definite
ore blocks and determine where significant increases in ore may
be found.

The 3-D model is important as Micrex moves towards mining the
deposit. Ore volume, extent, access and orientation can be
determined from the model and can help guide mining and further
exploration.

This current model covers only a small portion of the over six
mile strike length of the Burmis Deposit.

Preliminary data shows a significant resource and now that ore
configuration is easier to determine Apex has suggested that a
relatively small amount of follow-up work could greatly increase
the reserve.

A geophysical examination of the area is also being considered to
further delineate the extent of the deposit.

Micrex is particularly interested in proving up as large an ore
body as possible to take advantage of the potential for a
significant Direct Reduced Iron market that could be supplied
with Burmis Magnetite.

This would greatly increase the profit potential of the project.

Further information may be obtained from Perry Meszaros or S.E.
