Hey wstera: Here's an honest answer for ya.
I have no idea, actually, what you are talking about with this 'point' you continue to hammer on about comparing 'lies,' personal attacks, et cetera, to facts. What facts? You know facts?
Are you new to Cyberspace? Are you not aware that posters, particularly on investing message boards, may exaggerate their investing skills, and particularly results, etc?
Are you not aware that some posters have motives that may not be entirely pure and honorable to help other people?
I have no answers to these 'questions' you are so insistent about -- because you have no facts <g>.
I read what I see posted ... and point out what I think. Case in point -- yesterday I believe that could be considered fact that Voltaire predicted that the market would go up in the afternoon. Well, it did not. Those are undisputable facts.
Bottom line is that you really don't know what anyone posts about anything -- on this or other message board -- is 'factual.' You don't know if they even HAVE portfolios, to put it basically. You don't know if people actually make the trades they might describe in posts ... and you certainly don't know what motives any poster has.
You appear to find gratification in belonging to a group.
Hey -- go for it, wstera.
I can't imagine how you seem to feel that this board, which Voltaire deliberately abandoned, or anyone who wishes to post on it, threatens your right to do what YOU wish.
