Some of the worst research I've ever seen has been done by MD's. Yep. True. many colleagues who have had articles turned down by psychology journals will often successfully submit to some of the medical journals and get published It's hard to know, since nobody of any consequence actually reads the Psych literature. Whereas, everybody, whatever the background, pours over the medical literature. Hey, just teasing. The takehome message is that bad research and publications can be found everywhere. Which is why knowledge of the Scientific Method and its application is important, whatever the field may be in which it is used. ca@Bonferroni'sRus.edu
