AA:

Like most on this thread, I see the available evidence as pointing to a panicky admin and Fed. Desperate men do desperate deeds.

I'm looking for all the stops to be pulled over the next few days to turn this market around. The Fed already has its hands full, what with a junk bond market that appears like it wants to do a repeat of 98 and fall on its sword. The Fed knows that if the stock market caves, then it's all over globally. All hands have been summoned to the pumps.

Personally, I think the stock market continues to slide in spite of all their sleezy activities, (primarily as a result of insufficient flow of funds in to offset the various outflows) so I will participate almost exclusively as a bear. But for the moment, a rally appears probable IMHO.

Best, Earlie
