INTCman, agreed.. Fed demonstrating ignorance of inflation
function of money supply primarily
they cite as their reason for keeping tight bias higher crude oil prices... this is the biggest economic drag on earth... like putting two tons of ballast bullion on every ship in colonial days

sure, higher oil costs raise costs... but competition in our economy is the most fierce unrelenting vicious antagonistic I have seen in my lifetime... in several months we MIGHT see some higher energy costs work into end product prices... much more likely to see profits shrink, but some more adept proficient productive enlightened competitors work around the higher cost

my only concern with higher crude oil costs is the entire chemical sector... from lubricants, distillates, solvents, to industrial petrochemical end products, these all will rise in price

I pay more at gas pump, therefore I cut back on certain frivolous spending
like cut back on my visits to stripjoints
no big deal

doesnt make a twit difference in my other spending and investment plans & habits

Fed is full of cowards
they took the safe road, didnt commit, didnt risk, didnt bother to think thru their closely held fallacious tenets

unimpressed, Jim
