Avoiding all tech stocks which are nowhere near their 52-week highs. Shorting some mid-caps which look overextended. Holding all tech-oriented value plays. Adding to positions in certain Dow stocks. . .like Dollar General and Wal-Mart.

Getting mostly neutral.

I am certainly not acting out of panic. I planned how I was going to trade. I posted it publicly. I reiterated it this morning. And now I am simply trading my plan.

At this point, I am just not willing to wait to see how earnings play out. . . we saw the warnings. . .they are the early indicator. I am satisfied with that. And will stay neutral while trading some short-sell swings. I do believe we will still turn around at some point in October. It just looks as though it will be later rather than sooner.

Best wishes to all,
