Major General completes drilling at Sarah Lake Major General Resources Ltd MGJ Shares issued 41,826,328 Oct 2 close $0.16 Tue 3 Oct 2000 News Release Mr. William Coulter reports Major General Resources has completed the drilling in a second hole on its Sarah Lake, South Voisey's Bay joint venture property in Labrador. Due to the limitations of the drilling equipment, hole 2 was stopped at approximately 750 metres within a highly altered, hybridized, contaminated, graphitic gabbro containing disseminated sulphides. Hole 1, drilled to a depth of 560 metres, and hole 2 have been cased to allow re-entry at a future date. The drilling of a contemplated third hole has been deferred pending the results of analysis of holes 1 and 2. At the company's Satellite property, west of Sarah Lake, the geophysical survey failed to provide a drill target and no further exploration is planned for this property this year.
