The Republicans are incapable of realizing that the establishment of the Independent Party cost them a lot of good people. The moderates thought they would give Perot a chance to avoid the alienation of the right wing of the party. Later, they figured they been duped by the feeble minded communist tactics of witless leaders like Jesse "the body" Ventura. They are trying to come back to grace with the Republicans.

Just because a person wishes to have control over their own money and their own values does not make them an agnostic. I have my passion for religion that I refuse to push on other people. Hey, I'd love to share it but I will not preach it. Leave it for the minister.

I totally resent the snide comments by the right wing who want to push their values on others. Everything the Republican perty does from this point is up to them. If they want to communicate a message of economic freedom, they had better include the same protection for personal values.

If the Republicans want to end the internal conflict within their party, the only place to meet is on the common ground that all economic and persoanl issues will be equally protected by the Republican Party. Otherwise, all the liberals and progressives will continue to win the ridiculous arguement that tax reform will only beneift the rich.
