I don't know what you asked because you have made assumptions based on your understanding of telecommunications. Your question isn't answerable in the form you asked it. It isn't well-formed. I don't agree with your assumptions about what broadband is, and you have mistakenly used a term which has generic ambiguity. Effectively you are asking where you should go in telecommunications to make investments. How does one answer that? I got it: Att! When I was an astronomer my brother asked me, "Why don't they just take a giant telescope and look at Pluto"? Uhhhh, how does one answer such a question? With, "why bother"? Or, maybe, "why brother"? And then you add, "can you spare a dime"?
