On a more positive note, this from briefing.com this morning (Whalberg is one of the better pundits):

While broad based weakness is never encouraging, yesterday's across the board decline may be signalling capitulation on the part of
investors... If true the next day or two could be ugly, but capitulation is usually the last stage of a correction... In other words, with the
negatives more than priced in and out of the way, sector will be positioned for a recovery... The catalyst for which will be healthy, if not
spectacular Q3 earnings.
