I wouldn't place any bets a solid bottom is near. Today inflicted SERIOUS technical damage to the point I feel TA can not help guide us in the near term(weeks). The dynamics have changed. What happened today is going to get a lot of people's attention so the question that needs to be answered is whether or not one believes holders of LONG positions that are yet profitable will lock in profits for the year and start to lighten up their portfolios. If it starts, we are going to see a slide possibly lead into panic. Beginning to look like time to be in cash. GH
