Jim, re: "Who's left to warn before the real earnings start coming in?" The rumor today was IBM. I've read that since nobody warns on Friday, that warning season ends on Thursday, and earnings season starts on Monday. History doesn't bear that out, probably another couple of weeks before the traditional fall rally. John
