imagine 600 thousand new tech workers.
imagine a low barrier to entry system where everybody can produce a marketplace system in a secure environment.
imagine every mom and pop having access to this technology.
imagine doing it for 3-5 thousand dollars of software and less then 2 thousand dollars of hardware.
imagine having 600 thousand more tech workers to do the grunt work.
imagine having lots of competition between the tech workers.
imagine throwing out all of the bells and whistle and slow downloads and just going for reliability and simplicity.
imagine just trying to put the best (simple interactive)product up and then worrying about other important business issues such as marketing and how to close the sale.
imagine if the simple part of the entire procedure was all about putting the stuff up online and collecting the interactive information in a secure environment.
imagine if that was simple.
imagine if that was not the limiting factor to all of this.
imagine if the good stuff was good stuff,
and the bad stuff was not (necessarily) bad stuff.
imagine if it was all about facilitating business to be the best that they could be and charging a good rate relative to what was actually provided to the business.
imagine if all the flash and macromedia stuff was not really that important.
imagine if putting a television online was not really important because this stuff may never intended to compete with television.
imagine if this was really about an interactive medium that would never compete with television because it was not about television.
imagine....
