HMO's are run by power-hungry men like Abrahmson of USHeathcare who sold out at the top to Aetna.HMO's are not health people,they're business automatons without a heart.When I get a call from a referring doctor to perform a specific imaging study,the first question we ask is 'What's the insurance carrier?'...the only way HMO's will change is for the people to create an uproar...that's,unfortunately,how things in America have the best chance of changing!
