today for first time my feelings toward the Federal Reserve changed from disrespect to being ashamed clear to me they want a foot in the recession waters they regard untightening the labor market as the key to future easing they want more people out of work, thus easing pressure on wages they turned a deaf ear to Europe's problems they cannot point to inflation anywhere for years they acknowledge productivity gains, but still dont respond they seem unprepared to acknowledge pockets of a real economic slowdown they continue to point to energy costs as inflationary instead it is an economic drag, and reason for reduced profitability moving to a neutral bias would not spark a HUGE stock rally it would only prevent a continued slide & decline I am ashamed that they run US monetary policy I never elected them this is NOT what founding fathers would want it is consistent with communism central planning govt the ONLY thing indicative of revelation by Fed crusties is their gradual change in wording June: "economy shows signs of moderation" August: "economy has begun to moderate" October: "economy is now moderating" when a recession begins in a few months, they will say "economy has slowed more than we intended" what a bunch of effing idiots, eloquent educated idiots these guys are revered out of ignorance these guys are totally unaccountable they cause recessions, they cause Asian meltdowns, they cause currency panics, they cause unprecedented bailouts of private millionaires who the hell are these guys??? you cannot even write your Congressman or woman central planning, what a joke at least AbbyJo sees no big changes in the economy I feel like leaving this country sometimes who cares what I think anyway? / Jim
