Your story makes me wish I hadn't let my Louisiana bar license expire - I also have Virginia and Maryland, didn't think Louisiana was worth the extra cost of the dues, and too hard to keep up with the civil law here in a common law jurisdiction - but I think I might could find you a good lawyer in New Orleans, if you want to PM me with the particulars. Regardless, please accept my condolences for a crappy experience. Congratulations on cold-cocking the bastard, hope he doesn't get a warrant out on you. -ng-
