Short squeeze... Re FFIV: A bit under the weather here but did take a look at this stock 2nite. Seems to me there was a bit of a squeeze today. Many stocks with high multiples and in this weak market will have a big short position. As accumulation goes on, and the naz heads further into decline, many traders will be looking for a point to take profits and some will simply set cover stops over the open price. As the stock looks like its bottoming out traders will either tighten their stops to cover or simply buy back the shares. As the recovery and more buyers move in, stops get taken and more traders rush into cover their shorts, hense the squeeze. Had I been here, I would have thought it an easy short somewhere along the volume peak. finance.yahoo.com Have no shorts now and expect a bottom soon. FFIV is a good candidate for a rally as any IMO.. Good luck
