Bush didn't make any bad gaffs but I thought he should have had better come backs for some of Gore's volleys.

Mr. Gore your targeted tax breaks are so complicated the only group that's sure to get a tax benefit is big government. In order to qualify for your targets your going to have to fill out a ten page tax form just to see if you qualify for any of your targeted breaks.

Mr Gore you say for every one dollar of social security I'm giving six dollars back in tax relief, but that 6 dollars is over ten years and that one dollar of social security is every year. Your mixing apples and oranges and you've got apple sauce juice. Dont try and fool the american public, they're too smart for that. ( I dont know if what I wrote is true but it would make a good sound bite!)
