I see you side stepped the issue that I some how proposed population control for others and not my self.

Implicit in your argument is that too many humans are devastating to the environment.

Since we already have a slow population growth rate in the US, especially among "majority" americans (read "caucasian")
then it falls upon non-developed nations to limit their population growth.

But as I CLEARLY STATED, there HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HIGHER BIRTH RATE IN NON-DEVELOPED NATIONS, and the way that this has been historically resolved is through industrialization.

Bringing people up to level of financial and physical security where they don't feel compelled to have as many children as possible in order to preserve both their own retirement, but also to ensure that enough of their children survive to carry on their family name.

That's how you deal with overpopulation... As it stands now, overpopulation is dealt with by nature as exhibited in the countless famines and plagues we read about in Africa.

In so many regions, large families are ESSENTIAL to just sustaining the family welfare, as a means of "cheap" labor.

Regards,

Ron
