Well said. I see your point and I agree with it.

My fear with Bush is one born of my vision of a nation that you Americans do not share. Because of that it is a difficult one to argue. I mean, just the simple stuff -- do you really think we should have a guy in there who thinks that we are fine as long as there is a drop of hydrocarbons left to burn. He has no notion whatsoever of a larger debate, a longer-term view. Gore is terribly flawed, but I think it does occur to him.

All I know is that I wished they both still smoked dope.
