Carl:
your getting just like Bush no specifics

-- dual channel SDRAM systems that do exist

Name just one please

-- the i840 is a very high end machine

I think the OR840 motherboard is $300 not more than $50 more then the cheapest Tawianese dual processor motherboard. Dell sells a Workstation 420 for about $2200 for starters

-- DDR SDRAM systems will also be very high end machines

Yea out of this universe.

-- No way that dual channel RIMM or DIMM systems will
ever hit the mainstream PC market

Tell me how much a Sony PSII will cost about $400

--also the case that technology marches on
So does RDRAM scability but not SDRAM

I would have rebuted your last paragraph but you drifted too far off topic like GWB

john

What did you think of the debate. Gore had everything to lose. America was expecting him to come off like Homer Simpson but he sounded more like Hank Hill. Even in the best light, Bush comes off too much like a TV cartoon character to be president.
