I think they get copies that were made to sell with hardware and then sell the hardware and software seperately, as it is labeled 'OEM edition'

Also, there's WorldTime pawprint.net which is a FREE clock which does alarms. Also, synchonizes the PC to the NIS atomic clocks, Big Ben style chimes. It doesn't have organizer's elaborate calander functions, but it's good ay making noise at fixed times/intervals.
