I propose a truce.

I've just learned that the father of a long time friend has been confirmed with Alzheimer's (if you don't believe me, send me a PM and I'll give you her name and phone number to confirm). I cannot fathom dealing with the junk that's been going on here while dealing with these current issues.

I promise, through at least the end of the year, that I'll refrain from posting direct or indirect barbs at you and your posts. My views on this dispute have not changed; my approach has. I have no illusions about the likelihood of a change in your behavior; I expect you'll have a field day. I'll be removing your bookmark so I will be mostly removed from the non-BT distractions.

My opinions about my expectations for the near-future performance of the biotechnology sector were developed independently of any personal issues with you. These opinions will continued to be expressed although I will make a sustained effort to remove any potentially interpretable affronts to your views.

Since I would assume you suspect this to be some new ploy, an attempt to divert folks from the posts you have made on the Todd Smith thread (a thread where you've blocked me from posting - I would never consider blocking you from posting here), I include the following notice:

To SI participants new to this - please visit the Todd Smith thread (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/subject.aspx?subjectid=36770). All the posts by Richard Harmon and John Metcalf about 'cheating' and false news stories regarding Fountain Pharmaceuticals, the SEC, etc. are referring to posts I made under various aliases 2-3 years ago. I take full responsibility for this behavior. I also invite folks to recent posts on this thread for more of the story.
