Sure, I think people have the choice not to have a partial birth abortion, on pain of prison. As for 1st, or early 2nd trimester abortions, that is where I would draw the line... Personally, the whole idea of abortion is unsavory to me, but I understand that I can't legislate against a woman's right to have one. But I can reduce the time frame in which she can reasonably make up her friggin' mind to do so... I mean really... you've been pregnant for 4 months and you haven't yet decided whether or not you're going to go through with the pregnancy?? (minus the qualified opinion of two or more physicians who claim that her life would be in danger by carrying the child to term). Give me a break... And as I've already stated, I think partial birth abortion should be made a crime punishable by imprisonment. There is just no way that I can subscribe to Gore's premise that he thinks there could be some legitimate reason/rationale for permitting a PBA to save the mother's life. PBA IS NOTHING MORE THAN A PRE-EMPTED CHILDBIRTH. It is a natural childbirth that is suddenly halted before the baby's head exits the birth canal so that a hole can be punched in the base of the child's skull and its brains removed. What would be UTTER MURDER AND INFANTICIDE were it to occur the second the baby was clear of the birth canal, is considered permissible, despite the fact that the mother has already endured the trauma of labor and pelvic dialation. I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO STATE ONE INSTANCE WHERE A MOTHER'S LIFE WOULD BE IMPERILED BY JUST LETTING THE DELIVERY OF THE BABY'S HEAD OCCUR NATURALLY, RATHER THAN STOPPING IT SO THEY CAN SUCK ITS BRAINS OUT. You and Stephen claim to be physicians... so I'll leave that challenge to you two experts. Regards, Ron
