I suppose his own and other lawyer guild members' profits have been greatly enhanced, so Joel has been a very direct beneficiary of the attack. Microsoft is now making donations to political parties, ensuring they get the best politicians money can buy, which is the American Way. My guess is that $ill Gates thought Bill Clinton just wanted to play golf and learn about It a couple of years ago, then made the mistake of criticizing Clinton for not 'drilling down'. Well, Clinton and Reno and co drilled down alright, as only people with power mania can do. Now $ill knows how they drill down. Power is what they care about and power is what they exert. The power of the state. The biggest and most dangerous monopoly of all. Mqurice
