jmac, I don't think you should view the technology choice for an existing GSM carrier, like China Mobile, as anything more than an "I'll call you tomorrow" after a first date. A lot can change the next morning.

What VOD brings:

- A successful experience trialing CDMA over a GSM network.
- A CDMA network in the US via AirTouch.
- IMHO, the first GSM carrier to breaks ranks if the shit doesn't work.
