that said, I do think a near-term bottom is possible this week, probably Friday. This is based on my personal indicators, which are set up very much like they were going into Memorial Day weekend. That is, on Friday of that weekend, my numbers were at lows which have proved twice to be unsustainable, and seem to indicate that the spring is loaded for a bounce up. To complete the picture, we'd need a miserable selloff on very low volume Friday, closing at another low going into the holiday weekend. The long weekend would then give time for folks to get bullish again, perhaps temporarily again. Will monitor and update on Friday/Tuesday (assuming market is closed Monday???) MfN
