The downscaled PS2 launch will negatively impact game developers such as ERTS, THQI etc.

On the other hand, it should benefit the accessories people like RCOT and GIG(AMEX). With PS2 smoothing out deliveries, RCOT & GIG will be able to schedule production more profitably in their Far East factories - leading to an extended selling season through to Easter 2001.

Your GIG idea seems to me to be an imaginative angle on how to play this year's cycle.
