Paul, The offer confirms what I have thought all along about HDD -- that it is a screaming buy. Based on MXTR ~ 7.5, the deal values HDD at 11.25, which is cheap for a company with $7.40 per share in cash at this point in the disk drive cycle. I think the consolidation trend is healthy for the industry but I believe HDD deserves a richer premium. I hope that it gets it, perhaps through MXTR getting back into the double digits.
