e-Bill, did you think Gore's heavy breathing, sighing, face making, eye rolling and smirks were Presidential or were they the sign of a condescending, immature man? I personally vote that Gore is not truly qualified to lead. If he is elected he will be a "do nothing" President, I hope, because he has some very extreme wishes for us. One reporter asked him this morning about some of the things he has in mind regarding energy conservation. It was brought out in the conversation the price of a washing machine will double because of restrictions Gore wants to place on appliances, etc.. Gore didn't question that all appliances will increase in price, even up to doubling because of these requirements. His response was there would be an energy payback through savings over the years. The reporter responded it would take many years, if ever, to recover the costs. Gore did not challenge that. You may find your way to travel with your vehicle will change severely. Also, the costs of appliances, electronics, vehicles, etc. may rise severely to recover the costs mandated on them to comply with his environmental positions. I, personally, dread the thought of, after 8 years of Clinton and Gore, to have 4 or 8 more years of Gore and Lieberman. I don't believe I will enjoy what they will do to our country and our people.
