Yes. I agree. Retail stores would only be affected by the lack of new product but as the PS2 is backward compatible, ELBO should not have problems (and they also have accessories to sell).

BTW there is a good article in the WSJ on the PS2 delay and can be conveniently read on the SNE thread:
