Stribe, RE:"I may be wrong, but I believe that would be John Howard.. and I believe he is the leader of the Conservative Party down there... I also believe they're slightly more pro-monarchy then the Labour Party, and has thus decided to hold off on any future referendum on whether the monarchy in England should remain the symbolic head of state or not. Yo of course can correct me if I am wrong."
Of course you are right but you had time to think about it and it wasn't a trick question.
My point is that one should look at the issues. As it seems now, the media, most of which is liberally biased, basically is running the election. News reporters are supposed to be unbiased and many attempt to be, never the less the bias seeps through. Case in point, (reported on FOX network by a reporter who was there), Cristiana Amanpor an international reporter for CNN, gave a speech at a large convention for reporters, wire services, news media and the like. After seaking for a while she came right out and said something to the effect that: "As reporters, how can we let someone with the qualifications of George W. Bush become President of the United States? Large applause followed..."
Now Scott, if this doesn't make a light come on in you head you're seriously missing something.
Clearly Gore hogged most of the time last night, he got the first quesion, which he didn't answer,he got the last question, he thanked everyone, he continually rolled his eyes and hissed like a cobra, he continually acted like a kid, went over time. I guess that impresses some people. |
