IMO, the stock looks every bit as good here at 18 as it did in May when it was under 10. The buyers in May were rewarded with significant price appreciation, and I believe the buyers here will too.

The valuation of the company as a whole is still compelling even with the reduction in public equity. There is not any reasonable basis to value the private equity anywhere near cost – even if there are no IPO's this quarter.
(And unfortunately, most discussions I've seen of "NAV" do not even attempt to place current values on the private equity - only the cost to LDP.) Also, the value of the annuity operations and LPA may actually benefit in a difficult market, so in my view the valuation on these should not be reduced – not to mention the other money management operations.
