"Definitely" because Broadcom is a big player in cable and VDSL. They are moving into ADSL for some reason. It seems like they would not move into ADSL unless that is the place to be. I see it as a confirmation that ADSL is big. I also see Broadcom as competition in ADSL when they were just VDSL.
