Forum in Orlando seems to be going well . . .
if you believe the news releases. Lots of new business etc.

Anybody on thread actually attending the CTXS Forum in Orlando?

If so, I have a few questions:

1. Did either the CTXS folks or the MSFT folks come out and say that CTXS will be the .net backbone?

2. Was there any mention of the Symbian consortium?

3. Any mention of Vertigo?

4. Is there someone in the wings who looks like they are running things rather than the Roberts/Templeton people?

From the press releases things seem to be going well at the forum--but no mention of what we really want to hear. Who will be the new CEO?

Meetings can of course blow up in your face. When I heard that one of the things that "wounded" ORCL yesterday was a comment by an analyst that he did not like the "body language" of the ORCL CFO and this was the reason for the downgrade all I could think of was what happened in June to CTXS was also very subjective. I understand that very soon there will be new selective disclosure rules and companies will not be able to give analysts what is "inside" information. Then I suppose the analysts will make their decisions based on the color of the tie worn by the CFO.
