i shorted dell long ago. i covered my short over the last few weeks at a big loss - but not as big as it was. i went long the other day for the first time and have now placed an order to double my long position. with 20-20 hindsight i should have gone long when i went short and sold at 55 or 60. or covered on the way up to lessen my loss, or covered now instead of a few points higher.
