Scumbria,
The sharky review compared apples to apples. Both were 1.1GHz T-Birds.

On the issue of FSB. The FSB pipeline should have made a big difference on the DDR system and it did not. PC133 systems as you know are limited to 1.06GB/s even if the FSB is 200MHz. The balanced 50% faster FSB of the DDR system (1.6GB/s) should have helped the DDR systems but it did not. In fact, the DDR PC system proved slower in benchmarks than the PC133 one. I wonder what a single channel RDRAM system would have done with a balanced 200MHz FSB?

In any case, what that review showed is that DDR200 sucks, that a 50% more expensive DDR motherboard is a waste of money against good old PC133 KT133. And don't forget that the i815 PC133 is ever much faster than that. Makes you wonder, doesn't it. I'm sorry but DDR is D.O.A.
