Globalstar coverage as published in the UK Found yet two more coverage maps at equipment provider Applied Satellite Technology satcomms.com and at Vodafone UK fmp.magic-moments.com The former map seems fairly recently updated and provides some forecasted coverage in new countries not elsewhere shown: The former Soviet Republics of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are forecast for coverage by year end and the NW African territories of Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Mali, Liberia, and Cote D'Ivoire are shown covered by 3/31/2001. The Vodafone UK map OTOH, hasn't been updated since July, indicates its customers can only access G* in Europe, and provides no dates for when roaming elsewhere will be available.
