John - I bought back my Nov call and put position yesterday, and my January one today - still holding LEAPs. I also bought puts - Jan '02 30s yesterday and Jan '02 and '03 30s and 35s today. I PMed some people about this and also discussed it with Stubba and Zimchic on the Yahoo thread. Too many rumors, too much strange stock movement in the face of management reassurances. Still, I was only able to cover about 70% of my position. I took a pretty major hit on my DELL option plays, but decided it was better to cut my losses than go down with the ship. Glad I did. It seems like DELL management is still way to arrogant about what they can do and what effects a miss on expectations will have on shareholders. We'll see how it plays out tomorrow but I think it will be ugly.
