Paul, the thing I like most is your statement about "... Wall Street looks 9-12 months down the road." I hope, those Investors who are about to Short AMAT read your Post. Using 20 as the 5-year average PE of AMAT---they come up with about 40 as the full value of the stock....With your Post, I would be relieved of repetitiously telling them that they are about to commit the same mistake I made in the past on relying too much on PEs...The historical PE for AMAT, as pointed out by someone in this thread before, ranges from 4 to 48!...Your estimate of close to 90 is not really out of line!...
