Does it mean that you will be content with our vibrant democracy failing, as long we become a failure via public schools? BTW, your view is consistent with Gore's opinion about what's good for other people's kids: public. When it came to choosing for his own, he chose good. Joe, He chose very good because he can afford it. All that I am saying is that every child should have access to a good education. That tenet is so basic to this democacy that I am surprised it is being questioned. When we only care about a few people and not the majority, then we no longer are a healthy, vibrant democracy. And all the conservative....maintain the status quo and my pocketbook.....rhetoric will not convince me otherwise. Sorry... ted
