Well, let's see. HDD has about 80m shares and about $600m. So you are proposing--presuming that Maxtor has a $9 share price--that it would be a fair deal to HDD for Maxtor to pay about $360m to HDD shareholders in return for $600m in cash and HDD's revenue stream, business contacts, engineering talent, high end business, and MKE relationship? Come on, I know that this is the disk drive business, but isn't that just a little ridiculous? As it is (presuming again a $9 Maxtor price), they ar paying less than $600m for the whole kit and kaboodle minus the cash. A PSR of less than .2.

It's a good deal for Maxtor, Larry.
