OT There are better debates every day on these threads, these guys were afraid to say what they thought. What happened to candidates that had real personal convictions? Because strongly stated convictions can alienate some posible constituents. If I was running for president and was debating Bush or Gore I probably make some strong statement that causes too many people to decide that they will never vote for me thus ruining my chances of getting elected. Bush and Gore are good politicans, they will avoid making that mistake even if it does make the debates less honest and less interesting. Tim
