Startech Energy, as operator, in conjunction with its partner, Cypress Energy Inc., have provided the following drilling activity report on their Whiskey Creek well.
Startech Cypress Whiskey has reached a total depth of 3,500 metres and production casing is being run. The current status for the well is a potential gas well.
The entire open hole section has been wire line logged and the potential gas pay within the Turner Valley formation will be confirmed by way of production testing.
Preparation for production testing will commence immediately with actual testing expected to take place in late October/early November.
Whiskey Creek is 60 per cent owned by Startech Energy Inc. and 40 per cent owned by Cypress Energy Inc.
