To Sartorial Threadsters, I just bought 3 more dress shirts to fill out my week. What I said last time can be totally turned around. This time, the Valentino shirt I ordered was superb and the Vasta wasn't as good as I expected. Again, both were $225 retail, so at the price I paid, they were very, very good deals. But this Vasta does not have the quality of the first one I received. And the Valentino is much better than the first one. So, I don't know how this shirt game works. I am happy with all four, but two are a much better deal than the other two, and brand names don't seem to be the main factor.

I also got a $165 retail Donna Karan Black Label, and it is out-freaking-standing. And I usually do not like her stuff that well.

Oh, well, with all the freebies, discounts, rebates and kickbacks, I am willing to learn the products for pennies on the dollar. <g>

BTW, I also got a seven fold Kiton tie from Bluefly at a silly low price of $32, before my rebates. These things sell for $185 retail and for $85 to $115 on Ebay. I think it is terrific, but, since I am color blind, I could be way off base. <g>
