Tito,
Using your PE = 20, 5-yr average, multiply by the NEW concensus 98 earnings estimate of 3.37 (posted by Teri earlier today) and surprise surprise surprise what do we get? ~67$, and where is the stock now? you got it ~67$ amazing isn't it! So it appears that we're looking more like 17 months ahead (not 9-12)for fair value (fiscal 98 ending in october).

Dont get me wrong , NO WAY would I sell my AMAT, nor would I short, but it looks as though the "easy" money has been made from 22$ to here, and now we will need the upward revisions in earnings estimates
and the real quarterly improvements to continue the upward climb. I
think to be realistic we all should not expect the spectacular performce we've had recently to continue, but instead, a somewhat
slower climb but still profitable climb from this point.

Eric.
